2026 Joan — Sanchong Air Force Village

Shot 2026-10-12 Added 2026-10-16 Sanchong Air Force Village 76 photos

In radiant October, I joined an event hosted by Teacher A-Zhi at Debao Optical Photography Classroom—and unlocked several “firsts.”

First time photographing Joan
She arrived half an hour early to double-check her outfit and makeup. As someone who really values punctuality, that thoughtfulness left a strong impression on me.

First time visiting Sanchong Air Force Village
Since I arrived early, I took the chance to get to know this little village. The site used to be an anti-aircraft gun position during the Japanese colonial period; after the war, it became a base for the Republic of China Air Force anti-aircraft artillery unit, carrying rich memories of military history.

In 2006, it was officially registered as a historic building, and is also New Taipei City’s first cultural asset preserved as a military dependents’ village.

During the shoot, even the model felt like I hadn’t taken many photos; but when I got home and looked through them, it seemed like I’d captured everything I needed!
