About
My Photography Journey
Photography, for me, is not just a professional skill but a way of life. From the moment I first picked up a camera eight years ago, I was deeply drawn to this art form that can freeze time and capture emotions.
Professional Background
I specialize in portrait photography and street photography. In portrait photography, I excel at capturing the most natural and authentic expressions of people. Whether it’s formal portrait sessions or relaxed lifestyle shoots, I strive to ensure every photo reveals the unique personality and charm of the subject.
Street photography is another field I’m passionate about. Walking through the streets and alleys of Taipei, I use my lens to document the pulse of this city—from hurried office workers to leisurely afternoon moments, every instant can become a compelling image.
Photography Style
My photography style leans toward natural realism—I don’t favor excessive post-processing. I believe the best photos come from genuine emotional expressions rather than elaborate effects. In portrait photography, I take time to communicate with subjects, helping them feel relaxed in front of the camera. In street photography, I prefer to observe as a bystander, capturing real scenes without interference.
Technical Skills & Equipment
While good equipment cannot replace a photographer’s vision and skill, the right tools certainly help realize creative ideas. I primarily use Sony systems for professional shoots, selecting the most suitable equipment based on different occasions.
In post-processing, I’m proficient with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, but I always adhere to the principle that “post-processing should restore the authentic feeling of the moment” rather than over-manipulating the original beauty of photos.
Continuous Learning
Photography is an art that can never be fully mastered. I continuously follow international photography trends, regularly attend workshops and exhibitions, and exchange insights with peers. I also share my photography experiences and technical insights in this website’s blog.
Photography has taught me to observe, to wait, and to cherish every beautiful moment. Through my work, I hope to help more people see those easily overlooked beautiful moments in life.
Skills
"Photography is not just about technique, but about emotional expression. I believe every moment has its unique story, and my job is to capture these stories completely through the lens."
